Vice President of Construction | HYBRID + travel | $200k-$250k base + bonus

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team at a solar developer and IPP with a large existing pipeline?

The Vice President of Construction will join a rapidly growing commercial-scale solar developer breaking into the utility-scale market. As the VP of Construction, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion. Your expertise in solar construction, project management, and team leadership will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the construction process.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement construction strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish project priorities and resource allocation.


Essential Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years experience with direct reports
  • Experienced working in an EPC setting, overseeing subcontractors
  • Engineering or relevant Degree from a 4 year college is preferable
  • 15+ plus years of experience in the solar construction industry
  • Must be willing and able to travel to site 50% of the time
