A qualified President of Construction will posses the following experience & abilities:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering; master's degree a plus

Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Manage and optimize the construction company's financial performance, to include budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, and ensuring profitability on projects

National construction experience preferred, with experience in the Midwest and Mountain West a plus

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.

Solid financial acumen and experience in budget management

Significant relevant experience in construction project management

Identify project risks in conjunction with the VP/PX and support operational staff with risk assessment / management.

Manage the efforts of SFR MCRT Divisional construction teams.

Experience with project management software, Yardi, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.

Project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Proactive communication with regional construction, construction operations, property management, and asset management teams.

Ensures regional collaboration with local property management, & leasing teams

Approve payment of invoices as appropriate based on project plan, escalate where necessary and provide communication to appropriate management

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction/building science, engineering or architecture and design strongly preferred.

Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members.

Oversee and manage issue resolution to protect the interest of the organization.

Manage contract administration including terms, change requests, invoices, and progress payments, etc.

Minimum of 10 years of business development experience with complex, clean energy solutions in the commercial and industrial marketplace.

Full understanding of the capabilities of Paragon or other Distribution software and a proven track record of successful implementation.
