Job Description


What makes this role important at Ipsos?


The VP will play a critical role within Ipsos Brand Health Tracking. This individual will exhibit leadership skills, business development savvy, and research expertise to shape and grow a significant portion of US revenue, you will oversee a dynamic team of innovation professionals – ranging from junior to seasoned researchers – ensuring they have a clear and strategic road map to success. With your guidance, your team is expected to provide best-in-class service, consultation and thought leadership to a range of clients.


What you can expect to be doing:


  • Build Team Leadership: Balance the delegation of client relationship and project duties to your broader team, with the need to directly involve yourself in day-to-day activities on strategic initiatives. Over see your team members so that projects get done well and right: on time, on budget and on strategy for the client.
  • Focus on Revenue and Profit Management: Set and achieve realistic, but ambitious, business development revenue and profit targets for the broader team.
  • Client Development: Develop an understanding of our clients’ business issues and the industries in which they operate. Maintain and strengthen client relationships through our collective team greatness. Become a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their big picture strategy and day to day needs.


This might be the job for you if you have:


  • Strong team leadership skills with past experience in mentoring and/or managing others.
  • Strong aptitude for research consulting with highly developed analytic skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Minimum of 10 years of research experience.
  • Ideally at least 5 years on the supplier side
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, attention to detail, and demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically about the clients’ business issues and design research to address the client’s questions.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $130,000to $170,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.

The Brand Health Tracking Service Line helps clients manage their in-market brands in terms of monitoring health and making sure they are on the right course.Clients have their own sales data, we provide them with brand affinity data to understand how people feel about the brand and its competitors longitudinally.
