This individual will lead the marketing group, have responsibility for all facets of marketing, and help transform Transflo into a high growth company. DESCRIPTION: The Vice President/Head of Marketing will lead the marketing organization for the company, both overseeing and contributing to the team’s success. The role is ideally suited for candidates who have broad B2B marketing experience; thrive on digital marketing and automation; have metrics-based experience leading people and projects; and who drive programs focused on quantifiable results.
This leader is expected to tackle key projects in the areas of lead generation (enterprise and SMB markets) for existing and prospective accounts; event management; additional updates to branding and company identity; and promotional campaigns that accompany key strategic initiatives.
CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Define and drive key initiatives and results in the areas of marketing strategy and tactics, metrics-based reporting, and analysis
· Lead and demand generation programs, product marketing and go-to-market launches, content marketing, customer marketing, revenue enablement, branding, campaigns, events, PR and communications, paid search and print advertising, and social media
· Manage the marketing budget, key metrics, and agency or vendor relationships – adjusting the marketing mix as needed to improve performance

The leader in this role will work closely with the company’s executive and private equity team on strategic initiatives that help the company grow and to position it as a leader in its space. You will also work closely with the product, customer success, and sales teams on customer engagement; launch/deployment plans; migration/upgrade plans; interest and demand stimulation; lead gen and conversions; and adoption and usage of the company’s solutions. Together with the rest of the team, you will dream big and go to market with innovation that improves business performance for our clients. Creating culture of customer focus, cross functional collaboration, team empowerment and innovation is critical for success in this role.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, with minimum 2 years managing staff
· SaaS, and/or E-commerce experience desired
· Excellent writing skills with the ability to use words and images to create stories that resonate with clients
· Capable of managing and prioritizing several projects simultaneously, sometimes in high demand/high stress situations
· Comfortable performing qualitative and quantitative analyses; using data and fact-based methodologies to make compelling recommendations
· A strong, self-assured and influential leader
· Ability to make compelling recommendations; converting analyses into clear communications; and storyboarding
· Experience creating and delivery executive and board presentations
· Strong lead generation and conversion skills and metric-based decision making
· Significant skill and/or experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
· Salesforce, Pardot, Pendo, Web Design and writing experience strongly preferred
· Prior experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain marketing strongly preferred
