The Vice President will collaborate in the launch of Donor Egg Bank and will subsequently serve as the general manager of the entity once it is no longer in a start-up phase. The VP is ultimately responsible for setting and executing the Donor Egg Bank operational business plan, managing the daily operations and assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives designed to meet demand in both domestic and international markets. In a high growth and entrepreneurial organization, the VP will have an efficient start up mentality that strives to quickly launch standardize operations and roll out new growth opportunities across multiple sites in different geographies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates care between other ancillary entities to ensure highest level of utilization - i.e. Surrogacy.
- Developing and launching Donor Egg Bank including systems, platform, infrastructure, document control, recruitment, marketing and sales.
- Assist with the oversight of the development of annual market plan and budget.
- Oversees and participates in risk management and administration.
- Oversee as required the recruitment, selection, retention, training and supervision of practice personnel to ensure the delivery of the highest quality services; to maximize profits, and to minimize turnover.
- Conducts annual performance evaluations in accordance with Company policies.
- This position works to facilitate revenue and EBITDA growth
- Maintains practice operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing practice operational policies, procedures, and HIPAA & safety standards.
- Oversee that there is compliance with all aspects of US Fertility’s Administrative Policies and Standard Procedures.
- Assists in the development and the management of the annual budget and is responsible for achieving budgeted levels for revenue and profitability.
- Identifies new opportunities for profitable expansion.
- Oversees and ensures high quality coordination, communication, and overall experience of external and internal customers.
- Assist, support and manage as required, efforts to ensure that the Egg Bank operates in full and complete compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
- Participates in negotiations between the Egg Bank and all vendors and service contractors to ensure the highest level of return consistent with services rendered.
- Establish and lead the operational organizational culture by diligently mentoring and developing staff.
- Responsible for the oversight of marketing programs to ensure growth and brand awareness.
- Responsible for controlling budgeted overhead and addressing any inefficiencies of the practice.
- Enhancing and improving the operational efficiency and operational controls of existing egg bank.
- Oversees and participates in the external audit process such as laboratory, OR/PACU credentialing and licensure processes (e.g., Joint Commission, AAAHC, CLIA, OSHA, etc.).
- Assists in evaluating and performing process improvement efforts yielding better work flow, higher throughput, and more mistake-free processes.

- Computer proficiency required.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in healthcare industry required with prior experience in egg banking.

- Minimum 8-10 years Supervisory/Management experience with experience in hiring, conflict resolution, financial responsibilities such as preparing budgets, policy writing, etc.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven ability to build and maintain highly effective teams.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
