Job Description
We are looking for a Transportation Program Coordinator to join our team in Seattle!

Currently reporting to the Senior Director Program Management, the role involves collaboration with operations teams, program management teams, and other departments within the TransWest organization. The Program Coordinator supports the Program Management team planning, organizing, monitoring and collaborating on commute transportation programs for our corporate clients. The Program Coordinator assists with reporting to measure program success, planning of operational changes, engaging commuters to promote utilization, handling support in the form of chat messaging, email, and phone communications, and oversees projects related to each clients’ transportation program.

The Program Coordinator will also support program management in the creation of weekly updates, QBR’s, client meetings, client outreach, internal presentations, and off-site rider engagement.

This is a hybrid role based out of Seattle (SODO area). Candidate will be expected to be in the office part-time during the week.

What we do: We move people. We help them get to work, school, or play. From A to B, and everything in between. By shuttle, bus, charter or valet, we find creative ways to move people, business, and communities forward.

We are TransWest. We partner with some of the world's leading companies to create personalized transportation systems and hospitality experiences. We go above and beyond to remove stress in all interactions and make things a little easier for all we serve.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Program Management developing rider outreach plans, integrated commute incentives and evolve rider communications in the form of events, handouts and fliers, shuttle schedules, maps, policies and procedures, online presences, digital media, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Be a great team member and embrace our unique cultural blend of entrepreneurship and customer service!
  • Maintain and utilize Transportation Management Software and dashboards to support operations, including location-based rider apps, rider reservation software, driver telemetry, and rider surveys.
  • Support program and project activities for clients commute programs by ensuring timely and accurate reporting, informing stake holders, reviewing program data, and measuring program success.
  • Develop and execute methods to elicit, collect and interpret rider satisfaction metrics and feedback, through surveys, focus groups, commuter and transportation fairs, email and interviews.
  • Understand and embody TransWest safety and compliance initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Oversee alerts, incidents, and data from TripShot and other sources, analyzing causes to help resolve or suggest solutions to ensure future success.
  • Work closely with Operations on supporting team coordination, customer service training and operational excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with client scope changes and service optimization to maximize client value through activities ranging from optimizing operations, to making data-driven shuttle route and schedule changes and other efficiency-based problem solving.
  • Support Clients dispatch teams & riders of varying clients by communicating and answer questions on service information via chat messaging, email, phone, and notifications through varying rider apps and technology.
  • Compile, analyze and interpret data generated from a variety of sources, including ridership, parking data, schedule reliability, app usage, seat reservations, forecasts, commuter GIS location data, rider satisfaction and potential rider needs.
  • Organize and present data and findings to TransWest team (PgM Team, Operations, NOC, Dispatch, Leadership team etc..) in the form of reports, presentations and review meetings and make recommendations and decisions to support both internal and external stake holders.

KEY POSITION COMPETENCIES:

  • Effective and Persuasive Communicator: You receive and deliver insights, recommendations and plans in a clear and professional manner to a variety of target audiences, both verbally and in writing, ensuring information is shared with relevant project stakeholders and customers. You like to take notes at meetings and will send meeting notes to drive follow-through in others.
  • Client and Customer-Obsessed: TransWest built our brand on getting to ‘Yes’ with clients by solving their problems creatively and differently than our competitors. You must demonstrate enthusiasm for satisfying clients’ needs and exceeding expectations and be willing to think outside the box to improve service delivery by assessing our solutions from their points of view.
  • Builds Collaborative Relationships: We emphasize a team approach to providing great customer service. You enjoy developing and strengthening partnerships with people and businesses, both internally and externally and are an all-around great team player!
  • Analytical: You can collect and interpret data, look at trends and develop methods to tell client success stories through numbers. You are savvy around spreadsheets, pivot tables, charts and formulas, and even more savvy at simplifying those tools into clear messages for a less-savvy audience.
  • Adaptability: You are able to make recommendations for effecting positive changes and remain flexible and open to new ideas and encourage others to value change. You are persistent and inventive towards achieving results, outcomes and goals in the face of ever-changing circumstances, timelines, external pressures, obstacles and new information.
