Job Description
We have a new opportunity to join our Program Management team as a Transportation Program Analyst in Seattle (SODO)!


As a member of our Program Management team, the Transportation Program Analyst proactively analyses a selection of our corporate commute, transportation, and parking programs and reports out their findings in a structured manner.


Having experience in data analysis and reporting, the Transportation Program Analyst is responsible for building, organizing, monitoring, and reporting on transportation and commute services, measuring program success, analyzing & suggesting operational changes, and managing various tech solutions utilized by our clients and our company.


The role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented, high class of service environment, and helps influence the decisions of our program management and our operations team. Through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of data, information, and solutions, you will be positively affecting the success of our client’s transportation programs.


This is a hybrid role based out of Seattle (SODO area). Candidate will be expected to be in the office part-time during the week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Partner with Program Coordinators on Incident Reporting and validation of incidents and assist with reporting of results.
  • Manage, collate, and report out SLA metrics and results per client account.
  • Compile, analyze and interpret data generated from a variety of sources, including ridership, time stamped GPS locations, on time performance, parking data, schedule reliability, incident reports, rider alerts, Fleet PMI reports, rider feedback, app usage, seat reservations, forecasts, commuter GIS location data, budgets, rider satisfaction and potential rider needs.
  • On a daily, weekly & monthly cadence, organize and present data and your findings to various TransWest team members in the form of reports and presentations making recommendations and suggestions to both Operations team members and Program Managers.
  • Help optimize operational documents including run sheets, schedules, route directions and turn by turns to ensure the operations team has clear direction of service needed.
  • Deploy, maintain, standardize, and utilize Transportation Management Software and dashboards to support operations, including location-based rider apps, rider reservation software, driver telemetry, and rider surveys.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers for them to understand your findings so they can supply information on service to clients.

  • Understand and embody TransWest safety and compliance initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Through data review, proactively suggest program improvements and optimization opportunities introducing solutions to improve service and performance.
  • Work with local city planners and transportation organizations to understand planned road closures and city ordinances that may affect our services.
  • Support TransWest’ s Business Development team with the planning and building of transportation logistic documents (scope of work) for new or adjusted services for potential new business.
  • Work closely with Operations and Dispatch teams communicating issues and trends that need addressing to course correct services.
  • Through the analysis of program data and based on defined success metrics, create individual client reports and scorecards outlining the service success and opportunities.

Requirements


  • Experience creating, organizing, and presenting PowerPoint presentations is required
  • Experience in data visualization
  • Experience in Transportation design, TDM, operations, or related work
  • Proven ability to identify trends, develop strategies and implement solutions to drive results
  • Must be proficient with Excel, Databases, Power Bi, and data visualization tools
  • Strong independent worker and team player
  • Knowledge of Transportation technology and systems a plus
  • Experience in Program, Project Management, and/or Operational leadership roles
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook required.
