We’re looking for an amazing Finance professional to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle, WA office. This position serves as an integral role for our Financial Planning & Analysis team and will serve a key role during planning, forecasting, and reporting periods. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background leveraging Excel and Oracle EPM (preferred) to effectively prepare and communicate monthly financial results, variances, and have ownership of the entire P&L for our HAP operations. This position will not only assist in preparing these forecasts, but also reconcile variances against actuals utilizing our EPM system. This person will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Assists with corporate financial deliverables as needed (Operating plan, forecast, capital plan, etc.)
- Prepares, analyzes, and audits calculations and processes.
- Administer financial planning system (Oracle EPM).
- Prepares analytical reporting and financial analysis of the P&L on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
- Engages with operations team to support Oracle EPM forecasting & planning
- Serves as the “Face of Finance” with operating departments interfacing with the operations management teams across multiple locations.
- Assists with preparation of monthly management book.
- Assists with analysis of monthly variances to plan & forecast.
- Other duties as assigned
- Engages with other finance departments to ensure accounting, planning and forecasting processes are fully aligned & supported.
Requirements:
- Flexibility with regards to work hours during key deliverable periods.
- Strong analytical Excel skills.
- The ability to occasionally work out of the Seattle office during training and peak periods is Preferred for this role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
- Minimum 3 years of FP&A Experience (5+ preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to prepare and present financial analysis to a “non-finance” audience.
- Ability to work with and solicit cooperation from individuals in a variety of roles.
- Oracle EPM experience preferred.
Abilities, Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience evaluating and improving financial processes.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to develop, communicate and facilitate plan and forecast process.

Base Salary Range: $84,600.00 to $114,200.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
