We are seeking a Training and Development Manager to join Zippy as an important member of our operations team delivering and driving high performance across Zippy Team Members. In this transformative position you will champion training and development and take full ownership of Zippy’s training programs company wide. The ideal person for this role has demonstrated success in a highly dynamic and fast-paced startup.

• Design and deliver engaging interactive training sessions, workshops and webinars aligning with Zippy’s vision and strategy
• Collaborate with management cross-functionally to address specific team needs and provide ongoing peer-peer training
• Implement an evaluation system to test the learning and assess the effectiveness on performance and business outcomes
• Develop and implement a comprehensive companywide and partnership Training program to enhance Zippy team members skills, knowledge and performance
• Conduct a thorough needs assessment through discovery collaborating with stakeholders to identify training needs across departments and external partners
• Build and create a curriculum framework outlining training and topics learning topics
• Select and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless tracking, delivery and reporting
• Ensure trainings incorporates various learning modules including instructor-led, self-led, e-learning and webinars
• Build and foster a learning culture by effectively communicating and promoting learning and development
• Keep updated with latest learning and development, best practice and innovative tools
• Continuously update the training curriculum to align with the evolving needs of Zippy and any guidelines required
• Partner and network with learning professionals to leverage expertise and resources
• Manage the logistics of the training program

Qualifications:

• Open to travel
• Mortgage lending knowledge and/or mortgage lending industry training experience is a must
• Demonstrated ability to build and deliver companywide training programs
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft; Powerpoint, Excel and other Office tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Training and Development or Human Resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills interacting well with internal stakeholders and external vendors, with the ability to engage and inspire learners at all levels of the organization
• Strong time management, project management and organizational skills
• Proven experience as a Training and Development Manager/Lead, preferably within the fintech/lendtech industry
• Solid understanding of Learning and Development principles
