Trading Assistant Jobs

Recently launched Hedge Fund with Several Billion Dollars in Assets-Under-Management has an immediate opening for a Trading Assistant. This role will work directly with the CFO & Portfolio Manager and have regular interaction with the the entire Front Office!

Responsibilities Include:

- Book daily trades, and reconcile trade details with executing brokers, prime brokers, and fund

administrator

- Send daily trades/pricing files to administrator and Prime Brokers (PB)

- Perform cash/positions reconciliations between the client and its fund administrator and

Prime Brokers

- Assist with preparing monthly NAV reconciliations between the client and its fund administrator

- Prepare and send out daily positions/P&L reports to the investment team

- Assist with preparing FX trade sheet for execution (spot/forwards)

- Assist in the bookkeeping of account payable and the processing of payments

- Assist with the annual financial statements audit, tax estimates, and K1s

- Assist the CFO with accounting (cash flows, budgeting, etc.) and compliance tasks

**Seeking 2-5 years of Middle Office Trade Support / Operations experience in a competing buy-side environment.

- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)

- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors

- Self-motivated individual, who can excel in an entrepreneurial environment
