Public Finance Trading - Analyst

As an Analyst within our trading teams, you will work with top professionals to help support trading with a variety of institutional clients comprised of banks, fund managers, insurance companies, managed accounts, and hedge funds. You will learn how infrastructure capital flows from the largest institutional investors and individuals to the municipal institutions which build the nation's infrastructure. Job Responsibilities

• Assist the traders in managing risk, liquidity and exposure and support all aspects of the trading desk: pre-trade analysis, credit & high yield research, inbound and outbound trade processing and advanced data analytics, including algo pricing applications
• Provide support to traders covering institutional accounts and making markets in municipal bonds and other non-profit securities
• Track supply and demand, while constantly evaluating market developments and dynamics in order to give clients and traders the best information available

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Thrives in challenging pressures and has the ability to remain focused in stressful situations
• Entry level or 1-2 years of Trading or Markets experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant coursework (Economics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Math, or related)
• Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; proficiency in data analysis tools or programming preferred
• Maturity and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and open environment
• Understands the evolving role of technology on markets and has the aptitude to contribute to applications of the future
