Job Summary:
Hartree Capital Management, a division of Hartree Partners LP is looking for a Trading Desk Analyst. This position sits within Hartree Capital Management, which is the asset management arm of Hartree Partners. The team is focused on delivering consistent and uncorrelated returns to institutional investors. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a dynamic trading desk environment, working cohesively with the senior trading team.
Job Responsibilities
- Data reconciliation, reporting of portfolio positions, general trader assistant duties
- Creating and distributing monthly investor reports and risk data
- Working on marketing material creation, updates, and distribution
- Running end of day internal P&L and reporting
- Assisting in managing investor relations for existing funds and any ad hoc due diligence requests
- Track, monitor, and analyze performance data at the fund and portfolio level
Job Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and resourceful; focused on delivering results
- ·Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- Intellectually curious with strategic thinking skills
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in commodities or related field preferred but not required
- Experience with Python, SQL, or other languages is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in group environment or as an individual
- Highly motivated, multi-task capable and willingness to learn quickly and develop within role
**The salary range for this position is $75,000-$120,000. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, work location, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
