Business Analyst - Summit Trading

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst, Summit Trading

ONE PERMANENT Position offered in New York.

Responsibilities

Gathering business requirements and working closely alongside developers to ensure all changes to the Summit trading platform are correctly built, tested and implemented on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. Performing a leading role in the Bank's Summit upgrades from v5.5 to v6.1 and v6.1 to v.6.2 1 by testing that all market data (factors, market rates, FX rates and Issuer rates) to ensure they are properly feeding into the new version of Summit. Working alongside Treasury business teams to gather requirements, perform full system configuration for the new transaction type and book test trades to confirm the new configuration was correctly constructed. Role includes working in an agile environment with daily use of Summit FT, SQL, Snowflake, JIRA, AWS and Metadata. Setting up new trading and accounting schema in Summit FT to enable foreign currency denominated bond trading. Ability to trade Reverse Repo and Money Market products, Hedge Automation and the LIBOR to SOFR transition. Grooming stories for sprint planning. Ensuring all market data that feeds down from Bloomberg will be properly ingested into Summit under the new intermediate Market Data Hub. Converting files by python from parquet to psv to perform complete regression analysis of all data sets in Summit v6.1. Executing the auto securitization project from scope and design to go live by configuring summit to perform automatic pooling of Asset Backed Securities, booking trades to verify a successful build and engaging with downstream users to confirm correct reporting to the regulators.

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or related STEM degree plus one

years of experience in the job offered or related position in the Capital Markets field.

Salary Range for this role: $110,000-$130,000 USD per annum
