The mission of creator and affiliate product team is to design and build products that help creators to promote merchandise to TikTok users. This includes creator platform and tools, marketplaces, with product strategy that ultimately drives sales for merchants.
The US commerce recommendation team supports TikTok e-commerce business growth by improving consumer/seller/creator experience via recommendation products. We are looking for experienced PMs to identify business problems/opportunities in the US market and build innovative recommendation products to achieve high business goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Based on the goals and strategies of centralized eCommerce, go deep into industry work and promote the implementation of industry work in our tab;
2. Define prioritized target for Acquisition team across categories along with seller incentive pkg, define mechanism to incubate and grow key seller;
3. Have a clear insight into the needs of the industry and sellers, optimize and update the strategy based on the needs of the industry and sellers. Work with platform operation team across channels, campaign, search and feed operation team to further grow the target merchant and assortment’s control share against competitor;
4. Help design business and industry policies, identify the effect of policies and traffic in the process.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce platform operation, user products, with a deep understanding of consumer and shopping habits;
2. Past relevant eCommerce experience on leading assortment strategy and driving the end to end life cycle of acquisition to incubation to scalable growth in one or more categories; defined assortment and seller segmentation, seller acquisition incentive, seller incubation mechanism, seller growth boosting;
3. Experience in working with cross categories, cross platform channels, cross functions and cross product domain team;
4. Have a strong sense of responsibility, negotiation skills, good interpersonal relationship handling ability, team spirit, and ability to withstand certain pressure.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $117000 - $244000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
