General Manager - Logistics/Transportation Industry

***must have Logistics Industry experience***

Overview:

We`re seeking a talented General Manager to facilitate our greenfield initiative and expansion into new markets. As a General Manager of a new office, you must be a builder, innovator, and creative problem solver. In this role you will assign and direct all work performed in the branch and supervise all areas of operation.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
• Proficient with commonly used office software, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
• Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgement
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS)
• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of education or equivalent experience required (Supply chain management and brokerage experience a must)
• Well organized and detailed oriented with ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
