The Role


TIME is seeking a Commerce & Digital Revenue Operations Manager to support affiliate and commerce revenue growth across TIME digital properties. This individual is responsible for executing the commerce strategy for TIME and developing new content and monetization partnerships to grow consumer and B2B revenue on TIME. The manager will lead cross functional teams and work collaboratively with Editorial, Audience Development, Ad Sales, Product, Engineering and Marketing to deliver business results.


Responsibilities


  • Review and process contracts with new partners in collaboration with Legal, Finance and business operations leadership.
  • Deliver monthly reporting of financial and operational metrics related to commerce operations.
  • Develop and present strategic priorities for commerce.
  • Manage existing commerce partnerships and coordinate all TIME activities to make the partnerships successful.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to onboard new digital revenue partners and ensure correct implementation on TIME digital properties.
  • Source and onboard new partners who can supply content and monetization models to TIME digital properties.
  • Accountable for commerce revenue generation and gross margin.


Qualifications


  • Proven vendor/partner relationship management with commercial viewpoint
  • Comfortable with revenue forecasting and planning
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • A natural communicator who can align cross-functional teams.
  • 4+ years experience in building an ecommerce or affiliate commerce business
  • Familiarity with digital ad revenue models
  • Solid understanding of attribution models, affiliate metrics, and multi-channel funnels.
  • Deep understanding of commerce activities of online publishers

This is a hybrid role. Eligible candidates for the role must be within a commutable distance of TIME’s New York City office upon hire and may be expected to be physically present 3 days/week.

  • Salary range for this position: $90,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience
