Technical Sales Specialist, Energy & Optimization

Responsible for presenting and structuring comprehensive and integrated energy and sustainability strategies, working with client internal decision-makers, and leading internal resources to present and execute strategic solutions to clients.

The successful candidate will create and implement new growth and sales strategies aimed at penetrating new clients and determine ways to expand relationships with existing clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Communicate new products and leverage existing collateral with target clients
• Develop target client list and build connections with prospects
• Build new business pipeline, submit proposals, and close sales
• Work with Service Line Leaders to prepare pricing and negotiate new client contracts
• Coordinate with Sales Operations to manage client proposals
• Increase market presence via attendance of relevant conferences, meetings and industry events

Qualifications:

• Energy experience in origination, sales, consulting or engineering
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: energy procurement, optimization, renewables, and sustainability solutions
• Demonstrated track record of success selling to large C&I companies
• Experience designing and implementing strategies, projects, and/or programs across any of the following areas: sustainability, renewables, transportation electrification, energy optimization, and energy supply
• Strong commercial negotiation skills, ability to review contracts and identify key commercial terms
