Solutions’ Asset and Sustainability Performance business focuses on solving some of the most pressing world challenges - renewables, energy transition, sustainability, health & wellbeing, return to work and people safety. We do this through Renewable Energy Advisory and Digital Services, Environmental, Health and Safety Software & Learning programs, best in class Sustainability and ESG reporting software with UL 360, advisory services, subject matter experts and Healthy Buildings testing and verification.
What you’ll learn & achieve::

This position is 100% remote based in the U.S


UL Solutions is currently seeking a technical Sales Associate to grow our solar business. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible to present, introduce and market UL’s solar in the U.S market.

  • Maintain industry connections to understand market trends and anticipate tailwinds and headwinds.
  • Create proposals and close business opportunities.
  • Supports smooth hand-off of customer to implementation teams or customer success.
  • Proactively engage with existing accounts to provide awareness of Advisory opportunities.
  • Bring in additional technical resources when needed to support sales opportunities.
  • Serves as main point of client contact throughout sales cycle.
  • Maintain knowledge base of Renewables industry to anticipate and react to disruption and proactively address customer needs.
  • Provide input to account owner during account planning process on potential growth opportunities.
  • Build trust and engage with customers to identify customer needs. Act as a trusted advisor with relevant account owners.
  • Maintain high-touch relationships with potential accounts to ensure capture of expansion opportunities.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients in the Renewables (solar) space.

Total Rewards: The target annual pay range for this position $99,000– $105,000 which includes a base salary of $57 - 60K and 100% on target performance.

Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 75% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.

We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
