Title: Team Lead, Talent Acquisition Operations

Reports To: Director, Workforce Readiness and Analytics
FLSA Status: Exempt
As a Team Lead, Talent Acquisition Operations, your essential job functions will include the following:
Talent Strategy, Project Management, Operational Efficiency & Metrics/Measurement
  • Assist leader in developing and executing on talent branding strategies across all mediums.
  • Act as lead in educating TA team members about TA processes and procedures and collaborate with other Leads to ensure team compliance with SOPs.
  • Update/manage/enhance recruiting reports; partner with leader to create recruiter scorecard with business analytics and metrics: historical, real-time and predictive metrics.
  • Manage the design, development and roll-out of Behavioral Based Interviewing and training to the entire organization and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor competitive landscape/research recruiting operations best practices – analyze opportunities and recommend new processes and procedures, while keeping processes compliant, efficient and effective.
  • Act as project lead on assigned HR projects, scoping the project, planning the work, collaborating and assigning work and managing project through to completion while adhering to deadlines.
  • Lead in the enhancement/re-engineering of Talent Acquisition processes & procedures to build efficiencies, including subsequent updates to TA SOPs and updates to forms and templates.
  • Vendor relationship management of assigned vendors (i.e.: background screening vendor).
  • Develop and maintain HR Scorecards, ranking reports, turnover studies, etc.; develops reports, dashboard and analytics solutions to meet the business/functional needs and overall strategic direction.
Recruiting
  • Collaborate with team to develop, execute, and manage effective campus recruiting campaigns, including conducting research to improve business relationships with colleges and universities.
  • Responsible for ensuring team members manage the candidate (internal and external) through the entire offer through onboarding process in Workday; ensuring all required forms are completed in timely manner.
  • Develop, track and analyze all e-recruiting programs to optimize investments.
  • Identify competitive threats (including wage information), trends and issues and escalate to manager.
  • Develop creative and targeted search/marketing strategies to support the recruiting staff in effective and successful pipelining both with active and passive candidates.
  • Strategic partner to the business: consults with management team on hiring practices, recruiting sources and human resource related topics to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement recruiting sources such as college relations programs, referral bonus and networking programs.
  • Work with other team members to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine sourcing/ staffing effectiveness based on statistics, cost efficiency and customer feedback.
  • Establish recruiting sources through the internet (inclusive of social media), cold calling, etc.
Provide Resource Leadership and Coaching
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development opportunities to assigned Talent Acquisition team members
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
  • Complete a performance evaluation of each team member and recommend appropriate action such as promotions, counseling, and termination
  • Communicate operational priorities, objectives, and goals
  • In collaboration with the Sr. Manager of TA, determine staffing needs, interview potential candidates, and hire associates
Employment Law
  • Understands Federal laws as they relate to hiring
  • Understands State laws in states where Dealer Tire conducts business
Company Policies
  • Ensuring compliance of TA staff with regards to TA SOPs.
  • Assists department in carrying out various HR programs and procedures as necessary
  • Thoroughly understands Dealer Tire’s Associate Handbook
