The Role

As the internal face of hackajob, our Talent Success Managers play a crucial role in guiding candidates through the interview processes generated on the hackajob platform, ensuring they are well prepared, and acting as a point of contact when it comes to helping them schedule processes or just needing some friendly advice.

Our teams are experts in interview management, as well as being incredibly knowledgeable about the hackajob platform itself, and are obsessed with providing the best possible candidate experience. We provide the tools, support, and expertise for them to be successful.

Talent Success Managers act as a candidate's advisor but also combine elements of customer service, sales, and even a little bit of tech support. A Talent Success Manager at hackajob will work with our community of users and is an integral part of the user journey delivering an excellent service to all candidates.

Requirements

What will you be up to?

  • Representing hackajob online, via phone and in person at industry events
  • Continually improving the platform through user feedback and sharing your own suggestions/ideas for new features and approaches.
  • Ensuring that by being responsive, adding value to their interview processes and offering advice throughout their time on the platform the candidate enjoys the experience
  • Working with Live candidates without interviews and if appropriate advising on how they can increase their chances.
  • Working with both marketing and product to ensure they can support your activities in the best way possible.
  • Working with hundreds of candidates on a weekly basis, with the goal of helping them reach their potential and get the offer they deserve.
  • Ensuring candidates are aware they have interviews requiring response & are responding in a timely manner.
  • Working with candidates on their declined interviews & if suitable, trying to provide some more insight/information which may change the candidates mind.
  • Conducting Preparation calls before technical interviews and taking feedback afterwards, in order to give the candidate the best chance of reaching the next stage.
  • Managing a pipeline of candidates and ensuring that they are supported throughout their full recruitment process.

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to work at scale - you'll be able to have a positive impact on literally hundreds of candidates per week.
  • Resilience and ability to deal with a range of scenarios on a daily basis from first time users needing advice about how to use the platform to candidates preparing for final interviews with in depth technical questions.
  • Technical recruitment knowledge and a willingness to learn/pick up new ideas and technical concepts.
  • A real desire to change the perception and method of technical recruitment and an ambition to be at the forefront of this change.
  • Excellent relationship building and time management skills.
  • Recruitment experience (up to 2 years). - while we will of course offer plenty of training and upskilling opportunities, we want someone who already has a good understanding of the recruitment fundamentals.
