Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager, Clinical Healthcare Recruiter, for a large healthcare organization with an office located in Riverdale, NY. Qualified candidates will have prior Clinical Healthcare Recruitment experience, preferably within a Nursing Home, Healthcare or Hospital setting, have HR knowledge and experience in all stages of the hiring process. Will understand compliance related to Clinical Staff Credentials and have experience with 1199 SEIU Union.
Talent Acquisition Manager - Healthcare Recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Develops relationships with key stakeholders and potential candidates to identify and facilitate timely placements.
- Facilitates credentialing, reference checks and required verifications, and all other onboarding tasks.
- Reporting to the Director, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the full cycle recruitment and selection process for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with iCIMS or a comparable ATS/Onboarding System required.
- BA/BS required in a related field, Human Resources preferred.
- Ability to function with minimal direction, under pressure, and to approach unique problems and situations with creativity and innovation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as superior interpersonal skills, which must span all levels of the employee population.
- PHR Certification preferred.
- Excellent typing skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows, as well as familiarity with database systems.
- Health care experience in an 1199 SEIU facility preferred.
- Minimum (3) three years of high volume recruitment experience.
