Supply Planner Jobs

Responsibilities
The supply planner is responsible for thorough analysis and planning of all dependent and independent requirements within the product line. The candidate will collaborate with demand planning, sourcing, production, and assembly to ensure the timely delivery of finished goods to our warehouses. The supply planner will:

• Proactively communicates risk to management to explore mitigation plans.
• Assess and monitor shifts in the demand plan and propose optimal schedule shifts to the sourcing and production team.
• Monitor Inventory levels across skus to ensure optimal quantities to prevent stock outs.
• Create Open to Buy/Make plans to the sourcing and procurement team.
• Mitigate stockout risk by effectively communicating plans with the production team.
• Develop internal assembly plan for warehouse resource scheduling.
• Collaborates with demand planning team to support sales initiatives.
• Ensure safety stock levels meet company goals across product lines.

Competencies

• Understands path to production, lead times and capacity constraints concepts.
• Proficiency in MS excel.
• Has in-depth understating of BOMs and Inventory movements.
• Has thorough understanding of dependent vs independent requirements.
• Experience with MRP/ Inventory systems

Preferred Qualification And Experience

• CPIM certification preferred.
• 4-6 years’ experience in planning or supply chain role
