Who We’re Looking For
Therabody is seeking an experienced Demand and Inventory Planner to join our Operations department. As the Demand and Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting customer demand and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal supply chain performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to gather data and develop a demand plan that meets customer needs and maximizes profitability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, sales trends, and demand forecasts
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure that inventory levels support production needs and delivery schedules
  • Review and analyze sales data to adjust demand and inventory plans as needed
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve inventory management and optimize supply chain performance
  • Identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels and supply chain performance
  • Develop inventory replenishment plans to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing stock-outs while avoiding overstocking
  • Provide input on product life cycle management to ensure that inventory levels are adjusted to reflect changes in product demand
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and develop a demand plan based on historical trends, market intelligence, and sales forecasts
  • Ad hoc analysis as required by management
The Right Person Would Have
  • 3+ years of direct work experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain/Inventory Planning
  • General knowledge of MRP planning systems or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly. (Oracle NetSuite Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Systems and Tools: Proficient in the Microsoft Office software programs, with excellent skills in Excel. (Power BI Preferred)
  • Presentation Skills: Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Good problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into results driving actions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-Starter, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaboration: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
The annual base salary range for this position is from $75,000 - $100,000. This base pay range is for the U.S. and not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, candidate’s related work experience, business sector and geographic location. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus, although incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
