Job Description

Job's Location: Fully remote in the US

JOHN DEERE

$26 per hour

1 YEAR CONTRACT, EXTENDABLE UP TO PERFORMANCE

1st shift 7am-3:30pm EST

Travel to Savannah area ~25%

Potential for OT


Requirements:

  • This position will be responsible for handling PDP / SCI and OFP activities for 5M project at 2W facility for all commodities except Wheels and TIres
  • Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent
  • SAP, Excel experience preferred
  • Experience with external suppliers preferred


PDP/ SCI responsibility :

After engineering drawing release and new part set up for the scope at 2W facility , send RFQ to potential suppliers

Get supplier quotes and negotiate cost (Tooling & part price settlement) In alignment & support from respective commodity SBM

MIS data completion , Completion of C Task (Design 40 , develop 7 , verify 65)

Release tooling PO

Tooling & bailment agreement with supplier as applicable

Release one time PO for proto samples (as needed) and for initial builds (as applicable)

Establish connect & relationship with supplier base – support from SBM

Participation in DPAR along with quality & supplier for parts

Release Purchase order / scheduling agreement with suppliers for LPB / SOP onwards builds

Initial stage schedule / forecast visibility to supplier

Tooling PO / asset capitalization process completion

Packaging & logistics planning design finalization for Casting /machining /painting & other commodity Supplier parts (supplier to supplier) and finally to 2W

Support SM activities for CI ECM implementation & variant configuration at 2W

Close co-ordination with project manager & OF planning -Operations 2W for supply & build planning

Verification of JDSN schedule in line with Pune tractor shipment schedule

Monitoring of day- to- day schedule follow up

Align 2W & Pune production plan based on parts availability from 2W suppliers

Finalize MOQ and Inventory , Warehouse planning at 2W

Manage scrap / rejection process from 2W to supplier & system closure
