Waymo's Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams are making the technology of the future a reality. We handle all production processes and supplier development strategies: from contracts and purchasing, to designs for improved manufacturing, through quality control and delivery. We collaborate actively with Waymo engineering teams as well as external suppliers and partners to make sure everything is built to spec and delivered on time to meet the rising demands of our business.
In This Role You'll

• Ensure timely production schedules, adequate output quantities, proper allocation and efficient shipments to meet business requirements. Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
• Demonstrate sound business decision making aligned with company goals and develop S&OPs
• Manage components End Of Life activities
• Develop effective forecast models based on multiple sources of demand. Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated assumptions.
• Lead Contract Manufacturer (CM) operations team in planning and executing to the plan.
• Actively collaborate with internal and external partners and establish inventory strategies and manage the scrap process of IP restricted hardware

At a Minimum We'd Like You To Have

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis; advanced experience in Excel/Google Sheets
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including great presentations
• Well-organized and high level of attention to detail
• BA/BS degree required. Masters or MBA are considered a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Demand Planner and any role in Supply Chain
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures

$190,000—$233,000 USD
