Category Insights Director Jobs

The Category Insights Director will shape and lead the category insights agenda across all Channels as well as successfully lead the career and skill development with their team. The Director will develop and maintain key relationships between sales and other cross functional partners such as Commercial Finance, Marketing and Sales. This role will display strong category management functional skills, and will leverage to coach their teams to higher levels of performance and contribution, as well as coach customers on best practice techniques.The Director will also own all project management on key initiatives such as Channel strategies, solution selling framework and standardized reporting. The Director will lead the JBP process from an insights accountability perspective and partner closely with their sales leads and customers to identify problems to solve, identify potential solutions and collaborate to develop the growth priorities to be implemented.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

•Develop and manage the Category Management Team

•Develop and share insights to customer teams on current macro & category trends relevant to future growth and development

•Educate customer teams on selling with insights to grow the category

•Partner with VP of Sales to support regional growth strategies

Category Insights Directors are senior-level executives responsible for analyzing market data, consumer trends, and sales data to provide strategic insights and recommendations for product categories.

The salary range for a Category Insights Director typically falls between $100,000 to $150,000.However, will be contingent upon experience.
