The Sr. Manager of Game Presentation and Live Events is directly responsible for 49ers game day entertainment, activations, and live event management. This position directly oversees all entertainment, including but not limited to pregame entertainment acts, halftime acts, in-game promotions, and provides direction to game day production operators, in-venue hosts, entertainment teams, and various vendors. The Sr. Manager of Game Presentation & Live Events will manage and oversee all duties and functions related to the Coordinator, Game Presentation & Live Events as well as any seasonal support staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversees all game presentation and live event partnership inventory, coordinating, communicating, and outlining partnership opportunities during 49ers games and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Under the direction of the leadership, serve as the Producer and show-caller of all 49ers home games and team live events.
- Provides direction to all entertainers and game staff to ensure every contest, performance, and sponsored element is accurately implemented.
- Manages game and event operation planning with e2k and various vendors, developing rehearsal schedules, staffing assignments, movements, logistics, staging, and providing feedback on game and event documents.
- Participates and contributes to the overall game day look and feel by collaborating with graphic designers and video producers to deliver uniform content to support 49ers branding.
- Oversees and manages the Amp Squad (in-venue DJ team), which includes but is not limited to, managing contractor agreements, invoices, uniforms, and communicating direction for music playlists used in pregame player warmups and throughout the game.
- Leads Game Presentation/Stadium Operations meetings for home games and other events.
- Oversees the Coordinator of Game Presentation and Live Events and the operational needs of the department for parking, credentials, ticketing, and hospitality for home games and live events.
- Designs and develops game day and event show content, coordinating run of show and script writing for all departments.
- Assists leadership with game presentation and event budgets, coordinating all entertainment, event management, production agreements, invoices, and hospitality for 49ers home games and live events.
- Oversees and manages the Hype Team, which includes but is not limited to, developing the program, including auditions/casting, uniforms, scheduling, staffing, and game day briefings.
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere, and other graphic/video editing software required.
- Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated with a shared commitment to excellence.
- Proficient with Mac and PC operating systems and Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Must possess a strong knowledge of special event management, event planning, operations, entertainment standards, and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced live event/production environment.
- Must have functional knowledge of control room signal flow and an understanding of technical equipment to the larger show/production.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of football rules, stats, storylines, and history
- Ability to work with and collaborate with a variety of staff (vendors, interns, freelancers, part-time, volunteer).
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a live event show-caller, NFL, or football experience a plus
- 7-10 years of live production experience
- At least 6 – 8 years’ relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Shooting, editing, lighting, and/or audio skills a plus

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires the employee to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays.
Travel:
80% of local travel time, 10% of intra and interstate travel requiring overnight stay, 10% of international travel requiring overnight stay are expected for this position.
Compensation:
$110-125k annually
