POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive research and analysis of key customers and assist in developing a North American customer strategy.
  • Coordinate with International ProMinent contacts to align with global growth strategies, initiatives, develop and implement Strategic Marketing principles & processes.
  • Work with business leadership to create and implement profitable growth strategies and achieve Key Performance Metrics.
  • Lead and manage the North American marketing team including all aspects of Marketing Communications, Lead Generation, Digital Presence, Promotional and Informative. Literature Development, Electronic Quotation Systems, Salesforce CRM.
  • Conduct VOC, research and evaluate industry best practices, new opportunities and customer demand for product, services, features and benefits.
  • Support ProMinent in increasing the value of the ProMinent brand throughout North America and globally.
  • Identify new opportunities within the marketplace and generate innovative ideas to promote technologies, products or services.
  • Research and identify specialized channels to market, communication channels, industry practices for promoting & selling similar products/technologies/services.
  • Developing and executing the strategy for key product portfolios.
  • Set the commercial strategy and lead a cross functional team for critical new product development initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Required:

  • Self-starter, high degree of initiative, motivated and independence.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or related field.
  • High level of customer service understanding customer/market needs and trends.
  • Excellent broad-based business thinker who can collaborate effectively with peers & executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for user experience, customer experience & technology.
  • Creative.
  • Availability for travel as needed.
  • Strong leadership skills that can create a highly effective, energetic team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Business Management.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and handle more than one initiative at the same time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Ability to drive cross departmental team collaboration towards a common goal.
  • Experience in innovative product development, conducting market research & outlining market share.

Preferred:

  • Lives in Pittsburgh.
  • Experience with chemical metering equipment, rotating equipment and pumps specifically relating to service, repair, troubleshooting a plus.
