Sr. Product Manager


Scope


We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Sr. Product Manager for our TMS product, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of our TMS platform, including product strategy, roadmap development, feature prioritization, and successful product launches. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and customer success, to ensure the delivery of a market-leading TMS solution that meets the needs of our customers and drives business growth.


Desired Technical Knowledge


  • Knowledge of database concepts and data modeling.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with web-based applications, APIs, and integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with agile product/project management tools (e.g., Aha!, JIRA, Trello).
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages and ability to comprehend technical discussions with development teams.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., , Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).


What You’ll Do


  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the transportation and logistics domain.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business priorities.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the product.
  • Monitor and analyze key product metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality product releases.
  • Develop and execute the product strategy and vision for TMS platform, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into user stories, specifications, and prototypes.
  • Act as the product evangelist and provide product training and support to internal teams, including sales and customer success.
  • Drive the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.


What We Are Looking For


  • Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management, including strategy development, roadmap planning, and product launches.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager or similar role in the software industry, preferably working on TMS or logistics-related products.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven ability to balance customer needs, business requirements, and technical feasibility to deliver successful products.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong understanding of transportation management systems, logistics operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for technology and a strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $126,441.00 - $159,435.00


The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
