Summary

Renewable America is looking for a Development Engineer to assist the development team in our Santa Clara office. The Development Engineer will support due diliegence, interconnection, and PV design tasks. Candidates should have the desire to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment, be self-driven, and be able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities simultaneously. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in renewable energy, with experience in the of solar industry being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and monitor progress of interconnection applications
• Prepare single line diagrams
• Prepare preliminary PV designs
• Simulate annual solar energy production
• Support team efforts such as responding to RFPs
• Analyze critical issues for development through due diliegence process

Key Qualifications

• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to learn new software tools as needed
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Motivated, energetic, and willing to learn
• Bachelor's Degree in Eningeering or related field
• Equally able to work in a team setting or independently
• Proficiency in MS Office, ARCGIS, AUTOCAD, PVSYST
