Job Details


  • Lead new product development projects and contributes as a member of project teams.
  • Generate design control documentation for the Design History File (DHF) and develops quality control procedures.
  • Complete validation and verification activities to ensure products meet surgeon and regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate design change orders (COs) to enhance design and manufacturability.
  • Provide technical input to marketing for collateral materials and support Regulatory Affairs with FDA submissions.
  • Create and evaluate working prototype models and conducts testing to ensure design inputs are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Utilize SolidWorks CAD software to design and develop implants and instruments.


What You need for this role


  • Experience with CAD (SOLIDWORKS) to create models and prototypes
  • Ability to test and validate the prototypes to recognized standards
  • BS in Mechanical Engineer or related fields
  • Ability to transfer the design to manufacturing by creating concise manufacturing drawings
