Our sights are set high and our problems are hard, and we believe that diversity in the workplace is what makes us smarter, drives better insights, and will ultimately lift us all to success. We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.

  • Create and apply inspection criteria for the manufactured and installed components
  • Oversee Final Acceptance Testing of manufacturing equipment
  • Use your knowledge of industry standard components to develop the manufacturing Build Plan (line layout, manufacturing methods, part flow, tools, equipment, precedence network, testing processes, etc.)
  • Implement process control parameters and strategies to ensure process capability
  • Develop specification for tooling and automation equipment
  • Willingness to look for alternative solutions and come up with custom parts to improve installation
  • Conduct process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA) for the production system

  • Provide installation instructions and guidance for the assembly and integration of the harnesses and associated subcomponents into the Aircraft
  • Planning of workflow, workflow utilization, layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
  • Drive the Design for Manufacturability efforts with the product design team
  • Support first unit builds and testing of the production system
  • Support supply chain development and procurement
  • Troubleshooting of electrical systems and wire harnesses
  • Verify wire harness routing and installation to models in 3D CAD

What you’ll need

  • Knowledge base should include familiarity with crimping, cable layup, shielding, taping, heat shrink, pinning/depinning connectors, and cable rework and repair techniques
  • Understanding of design for manufacturing, lean manufacturing, and capacity planning techniques
  • 4-7 years of experience in the manufacture of aircraft wiring and electrical components
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field; degree may not be required with enough applicable experience.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in the use, setup and deployment of automated harness testing equipment (DITMCO, CIRRIS)
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical process control and GD&T
  • The ideal person would be willing to move to Atlanta, GA when our new facility is built within 1-2 years.
