Job Description

Anbro Corporation is an ambitious start-up looking to disrupt the energy storage sector by designing and manufacturing a hybrid inverter, battery, and energy storage system, entirely based in the U.S., for residential and commercial applications. We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer willing to immerse themselves fully into our unique work culture. Anbro is (2) people. Yes it's really a startup. Both are Marine Corps Officer Veterans. CEO is an Electrical Engineer and Software Developer. COO is Ops and Marketing and Post Sales Support.

Compensation:

Recognizing that we are a small, early-stage start-up with limited financial resources, we offer a unique compensation package. This includes living expenses and a small monthly stipend (negotiated). Additionally, we provide an attractive equity stake in Anbro Corporation. This is a unique opportunity to not only be an employee but also a partner, helping to shape the direction of our company. Like any startup the intent is to build a product that will be purchased by customers. To that end, your stake in the company will grow in value over time.

As our Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and development of our hybrid inverter, battery, and energy storage system.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in all stages of product development, from concept generation through to final production.
  2. Develop electrical systems and products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods.
  3. Ensure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
  4. Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
  5. Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
  6. Lead and participate in design and code reviews, ensuring the high quality of the solutions.
  7. Work with customers and stake holders to improve the product over the lifecycle of the equipment.
  8. Organize and coordinate necessary UL, CE, FCC testing and evaluation with those respective agencies


Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor's Degree, Masters, PhD in Electrical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
  2. Demonstrated expertise in the design and development of high power circuits, inverters, batteries, and energy storage systems.
  3. Strong understanding of energy storage technologies and their application in residential and commercial settings.
  4. Excellent understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and power electronics.
  5. Ability to design and execute product testing, and interpret results to guide development.
  6. Experience with circuit simulation software.
  7. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.


Preferred Skills:

  1. Prior experience working in a start-up environment.
  2. Track record of product development from concept to production.
  3. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
