Position Summary
The Project Engineer will own the design of operations, offices, and production lines to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Recommend production/operations equipment, layouts, or purchases required to meet organizational needs
  • Estimates project costs including facilities infrastructure, equipment, materials, labor, etc and monitors the project vs plan
  • Utilize data to justify projects
  • Serve as point of contact for facilities maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, costs, safety, quality, or sustainability
  • Manage site documentation (AutoCAD drawings, certifications, etc)
Requirements:
Qualifications
  • BS Degree required
  • Successful track record of project implementation
  • 3+ years of facilities/process/industrial engineering experience
  • Experience overseeing facilities maintenance
  • Ability to travel to support projects outside of Santa Clarita
  • Experience working distribution facilities
  • Familiarity with sustainability
