Position Summary:
The Business Development Leader oversees the growth and evolution of the Residential Segment by identifying, attracting, and sustaining new and existing customers. This role is accountable for building a sales team to maximize growth.
Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and develops new market initiatives through the analysis of business opportunities in both new and existing markets to ensure sustained growth
- Develop program selling strategies that optimize organizational profitability
- Oversee the sales process, owning the sales lifecycle, and maintaining positive customer relations for the segment
- Lead structured improvement activities to deliver efficiencies and process improvements across the segment
- Work with senior leaders to create and implement KPIs for Residential Sales team
- Accountable for the planning, execution, and growth of Residential sales
- Manage team of sales leaders; coach, develop, and motivate team members in alignment with organizational commitment and results
Position Qualifications
Requirements:
- Track record of growth and new business development strategy
- Strong leadership skills
- Travel %: 20%+
- Bachelor’s degree
- Self-starter, working both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 10+ years of business development and sales experience
- Highly motivated and target driven, excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
