Role Overview: As the Senior Manager, Carrier Procurement at WARP, you will play a critical role in building and managing our carrier network, with a strong emphasis on reefer and cold supply chain operations.
Your expertise in this area will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of perishable goods while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing carrier onboarding, securing capacity, and leading a team of dedicated Carrier Sales Representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reefer and Cold Supply Chain Expertise: You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of reefer supply chain and cold storage operations to assess carrier capabilities, ensuring they meet the strict requirements of transporting temperature-sensitive goods. Your understanding of best practices and industry standards will drive the selection of carriers that can deliver on our commitment to quality.
- Carrier Network Development: You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding carriers specializing in reefer operations, including smaller operators (Box Trucks/Sprinter Vans), reefer carriers, long haul 53' trailers, and a variety of medium to large carriers across the US. Your goal will be to build a robust and reliable carrier network specifically tailored to the unique needs of the cold supply chain.
- Capacity Management: With your expertise in logistics and transportation, you will proactively secure sufficient capacity within the carrier network to meet fluctuating shipping demands for temperature-sensitive goods. This includes managing carrier contracts and negotiating terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Team Leadership: As a Head of Carrier Network, you will oversee and support a team of Carrier Sales Representatives. Your role involves coaching, training, and fostering a growth-oriented environment that empowers employees to excel in handling reefer and cold supply chain operations.
- Innovative Solutions: We value individuals who think outside the box. Your knowledge of reefer logistics will be vital in developing creative and efficient solutions that maintain product integrity throughout the supply chain, benefiting both our customers and our company.

- Previous experience in a high-paced environment, ideally in a carrier sales management role within the logistics industry, with a focus on reefer and cold supply chain operations.
- A proven track record of successfully growing carrier networks and developing long-term partnerships with carriers specializing in reefer operations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and identify creative solutions to address operational challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of building rapport and collaborating with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and transportation, specifically about reefer and cold storage requirements.
