Job Description
The Senior Manager, Multi-Unit Performance Operations will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's overall operations for master franchisees and multi-unit operators. The primary focus will be on developing and rolling out processes and partnerships at scale, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving initiatives to enhance the organization's performance and profitability. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to align operational objectives with the company's strategic goals.


  • Strategic Development: Analyze Franchise business operations, market trends, and industry best practices to formulate comprehensive strategies that align with the company's long-term vision and objectives for MFAs and multi unit operators
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior leadership, conveying operational performance, challenges, and recommended strategies
  • Attain a high degree of knowledge about our vendors, partners, systems infrastructure, product updates, business processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive successful implementation and execution
  • Support Resource Creation: Develop comprehensive onboarding guides, manuals, and digital resources that provide step-by-step instructions and best practices to support master and multi-unit franchisees during their initial setup and ongoing operations
  • Franchise Process Optimization: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with new master and multi-unit franchisees, serving as a point of contact to address questions, concerns, and challenges they may encounter during the onboarding process
  • Onboarding Program Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, performance, education, onboarding, support, legal, and marketing, to design an effective onboarding program tailored to the specific needs and goals of master and multi-unit franchisees
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data-driven approaches to evaluate performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve decision-making at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure operational strategies align with the overall business strategy and objectives of the organization
  • Performance Tracking: Establish performance metrics and monitoring mechanisms to evaluate the progress of newly onboarded master and multi-unit franchisees and provide timely feedback and support


Requirements


  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and business planning required.
  • Strong operational background and knowledge of how fitness franchise businesses operate successfully through understanding of business management and strategic initiatives
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional operations initiatives across different regions (national and global) preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams required
  • Prior experience building business portfolios that helped maximize EBITDA
  • Minimum 5 years prior related experience required.
  • Prior experience in operations of multi-unit fitness studios required
  • A strong driver for continuous improvement and goal oriented KPIs
  • Excel at presentations, public speaking, and building relationships internally and externally (customer facing)
  • Requires knowledge of fitness industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape across global markets
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing market dynamics required
