Education Consultant Manager Jobs

Join our team as an Education Consultant Manager and coach the national education consultant team to work with districts, schools, and teachers to impact growth of the Big Ideals Learning brand.

Your work will include:

· Collaborating and coaching a team of National Education Consultants to develop plans for personal growth and improvement.

· Developing a strategic/marketing plan for assigned territory based on upcoming adoption information for the school year, needs of the customer and past years regional performance to meet assigned quota:

o Adjusting plans as needed.

o Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout the region to stay abreast of districts needs and adoption cycles.

· Developing and supporting education consultant team on creating effective sales strategies/action plans.

· Supporting customer journey through market analysis and adoption cycle:

o Uncovering market intelligence.

o Uncovering opportunities.

o Creating loyal customers.

o Creating growth opportunities.

· Developing individual growth plans and conducts quarterly appraisal for team:

o Observing team in field by attending sales calls and presentations.

o Responsible for attracting, developing, coaching, motivating, empowering, and retaining educational consultant team members.

o Conducting regular team meetings and 1:1 meetings.

· Frequently communicating and collaborating across the organization with internal and distributor partners and shares information learned with team.

· Working with the VP of sales to develop territory projections, KPI’s, and forecasting throughout the sales year to drive territory success.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at the school and district level within K-12 education.

· Working in tandem with distributor regional managers to strategically collaborate between sales teams to meet and exceed territory objectives.

· Monitoring and reporting competitors, market conditions, and new product development.

A Qualified Candidate:

· Has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, education, marketing, or related field or a combination of relevant education and experience.

· Has at least 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Management experience preferred but a strong interest to lead without prior experience will be considered.

· Teaching or school administration experience a plus.

· Has knowledge about current educational climate, research, and markets.

· Has solid presentation and selling skills.

· Is technology savvy.

· Has excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

· Has excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.

· Is energetic, self-starter with strong work ethic.
