Responsibilities:

IT Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute the hospital's IT strategic plan, considering the unique challenges and requirements

Assess the IT infrastructure and services, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.Team Management:

Led and managed a global team of IT professionals, including IT administrators, support staff, and specialists.

Manage resource allocation and ensure appropriate staffing levels to support hospital operations.

Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including network management, system administration, and user support.

Ensure the reliability and availability of critical hospital systems, such as electronic health records (EHR) and medical imaging solutions.

Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect patient data and sensitive information.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers to source and implement IT solutions and services that meet the hospital's specific needs.

Negotiate contracts and service level agreements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.

IT Governance and Compliance:

Develop and enforce IT governance policies, procedures, and standards that align with healthcare regulations and best practices.

Monitor compliance with data protection and privacy laws to safeguard patient information.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical IT systems and services.
