Job Description

We are looking to fill an executive-level technology position with a multi-Billion dollar hedge fund located in New York, NY.


Visa Status:

  • US Citizens and Green Card Holders Only


Compensation:

  • $400k - $500k Base + Negotiable Annual Bonus %


Location:

  • New York, NY (Preferred)
  • 100% Remote (Open for Exceptional Candidates)


Qualifications:

  • Deep technical background developed from experience working with various applications and technologies to evaluate design alternatives and their time/cost/performance tradeoffs.
  • BS/Master’s/Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a similar field
  • 6+ years of hands-on project management and professional software development using C#, Java, or C++, plus an understanding of RDBMS design and optimization practices.
  • 15+ years of progressive information technology experience with increasing levels of responsibilities
  • 10+ years of proven experience as a Director of Software Development at a Hedge Fund, Investment Management firm, Private Equity, or Trading Firm.
  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and continuous integration/delivery.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle. Passionate about staying current on modern solutions and best practices.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices, distributed systems, containerization, common automation tools (Jenkins/SOS Job scheduler, etc.), CICD toolsets (GIT, Atlassian, Gitlab, etc.), and the Microsoft Visual Studio/DotNet development environments.
