JobRole:ITSM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Work with management and internal stakeholders to define business requirements and analytical needs and execute against them.
• Support the development, documentation, and adoption of procedures and work instructions for improved Analytics & Reporting execution.
• Support ITSM/ITSS Analytics & Reporting practices operationally
• Develop and maintain scalable, automated dashboards and reports that benchmark and track progress against key operational performance goals and initiatives.

·Forge strong relationships for improved collaboration to provide innovative solutions.

• Assist other IT Service Management teams when necessary to support resource capacity and IT service delivery.

Job Duties

• Follow established procedures to execute day-to-day activities
• Understand and adhere to specific policies and processes governing area of specialization
• Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards using business intelligence tools to incorporate data from diverse sources and tools.
• Effectively communicate across company and department boundaries at all levels.
• Collect, clarify, and analyze data and business requirements for new or revised dashboards & reporting.
• Contribute to the development, modification, documentation, and implementation of procedures.
• Other related ITSM duties as assigned
• Support continuous improvement activities

Qualifications:

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
• Experience with building tiles/dashboards in PowerBI
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years working in a technology discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ relevant experience
• Familiarity ServiceNow and other ITSM/ITOM data sources
• 2+ years’ experience with PowerBI
• 2+ years’ working in a collaborative, team-based environment
• 1+ years’ experience with DOMO
• Demonstrated commitment to continual learning

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated experience of using technology to improve efficiency
• Demonstrated experience with data query and extraction technologies
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools and concepts
• Experience/understanding of IT best practices and process tools.
• Competent understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Essential interpersonal skills and team orientation
