Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Candidates must reside in the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

FTE Salary of $160/k -170K/Year + Benefits.

Qualified candidates must have or can attain a Public Trust Level 6(c) clearance and be able to commute to occasional client-site meetings. This is a full-time remote position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides strong, proactive, and assertive leadership while maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
• Prepares staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations.
• Serves as liaison to the government clients for all areas associate with the project/program.
• Responsible for all phases of the project/program development lifecycle, include budget, risk, and resource management.
• Creates and delivers high-quality, informative, written/verbal project communications.
• Coordinate and lead cross-team activities, including external clients and internal supports.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Manages one or more Information Technology (IT) program/ projects under a BPA.
• Monitor and evaluate software solutions, development of the solutions, and integration of the solutions.
• Ensures the execution of the Program’s Quality Management and Assurance Program for all products and services.
• Assigns staff and provides technical direction as necessary to complete task.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated experience with project software development from inception to deployment.
• Prior experience managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity in a federal government environment.
• Demonstrated technical management and development leadership experience.
• Proven skill in managing projects for various project management methodologies.
• PMP Certification
• Experience in cost and risk management.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Proven ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
