Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Business Technologies in the BOSTON, MA area, and overall the role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive sales improvement within a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in sales automation, process and productivity, experienced in groundbreaking change during critical junctions of company expansion because it is an incredible time of growth and scalability for this company!
They have a wide comp range that they're targeting ($200-250k) depending on experience, and they have outstanding benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the development of custom solutions and integrations to address complex business challenges.
- Collaborating in decisions regarding key aspects of sales automation, such as Salesforce.com integrations and vendor selection, while overseeing 3rd-party vendors and contractors.
- Identifying and addressing gaps in development processes and documentation.
- Driving project execution, ensuring high-quality technical and process design and implementation.
- Enhancing sales automation implementation to support a sophisticated marketing qualified lead process, including lead distribution rules, lead categorization/management, and coordinated follow-up with marketing.
- Directing the planning, prioritization, and execution of projects within Revenue Operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with large sales teams, preferably in a SaaS environment, or experience with smaller teams in rapid growth stages.
- Ability to elevate and expand the capabilities of the company's Revenue Operations team to deliver improved processes, enhanced reporting and analytics, and a top-notch revenue operations experience.
- Demonstrated innovation skills to design new processes, simplify complexity, and drive results with strong support from sales leadership and teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of data, processes, and technology to drive sales improvement.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in GTM (Go-to-Market) or Business Technology, with a preference for 10+ years.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading a Sales/Rev Operations team, ideally within a SaaS company.
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
- Expertise in Salesforce.com, Marketing Automation, CPQ (Configure Price Quote), MS Excel, and Tableau.
- Experience working across Sales and Marketing functions is preferred.
- Familiarity with a sprint-based agile development system is also preferred.
