Overview:

Forsyth Barnes are working with a global retailer who are looking for a Senior Director of Analytics to work on their digital transformation program. This individual will be expected to hit the ground running, growing and expanding the current data function.

The ideal candidate will use their passion for data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for the business users.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing a strategy for the adoption of Data Analytics across the EMEA Internal Audit team. Including periodic refresh to drive progressive maturity of Analytics usage within the region.
• Work closely with Audit Portfolio leaders to identify opportunities for the utilisaiton of analytics supporting the design and timely delivery of testing.
• Design and implement a continuous improvement training strategy across the EMEA Internal Audit team in order to build, develop and embed Internal Audit Analytics capability.
• Oversee the delivery of quality analytics work in alignment with the overall strategy.

Requirements:

• Must have worked within the retail space (Working for Target, Walmart, Chewy would be admirable).
• Strong technical data analytics expertise across a range of toolsets including SQL ad Python.
• Global perspective, demonstrating inclusiveness through appreciation of different perspectives and diversity.
• Strong acumen regarding auditing methods and industry practices.
• Ability to build and maintain external networks.
