Position Summary:
As KidKraft continues to expand our business globally, we continue to look for the best and brightest to drive strategic business decisions. To this end, we are looking for a talented individual to lead our sales account management work for our Amazon account. This position provides broad exposure across the organization and supports one of our largest accounts. The Senior Account Manager reports to the Senior Sales Director.
We are open to fully remote candidates, with periodic travel to the Dallas HQ Office.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support Sales leadership in high level key meetings with customers; own the customer from a business perspective.
- Other responsibilities as needed
- Provide customer insights to and partner with appropriate KidKraft colleagues (Sales, Marketing, PD, FP&A) to establish product assortment plans.
- Interact with key customer contacts as needed to drive the Joint Business Plan (JBP).
- Responsible for driving and coordinating completion of actions tied to overall customer joint business plan (JBP) for customers, created in partnership with KidKraft Sales leadership, Marketing, FP&A, Product Development and customer’s buyer/other key contacts as needed.
- Work with FP&A and Marketing to establish account pricing.
- Prepare external and internal meeting presentations and customer communications as needed
- Work with Marketing for customer and consumer research to help build more insightful sales plan.
- Own Amazon customer requirements for retail stores (such as latest standards for merchandising, retail link)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; business degree a plus
- Prior experience using Retail Link a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of related sales experience; CPG or product-related sales and customer relationship management a must, toy and Mass Retail industry experience a plus.
- Amazon 1P experience required
- Keen ability to influence the customer and to drive mutually beneficial negotiations, as well as a successful long term customer relationship
- High level of energy and enthusiasm; strong initiative for anticipating and meeting business demands
- Proven track record of driving sales results
- Must thrive in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to present to all levels of an organization
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage against deadlines.
