The Lead Developer – Supply Chain Planning & Optimization (SCPO) position is responsible for developing and maintaining technology solutions that are used to support US Foods’ inventory management, demand forecasting, and overall service level objectives.
Flexible Work Policy: The work for the SCPO Lead Developer position is completed 100% remotely anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position may have the potential to travel up to 20%, dependent on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project and provides work estimates when requested.
  • Develop testing approach and test cases to validate changes to core business functionality.
  • Create Requests for Change and documents necessary to promote production installs.
  • Design and implement software solutions and software design for supply chain applications based on BlueYonder’s SCPO platform & tools. Use expertise to understand how Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to better address USF goals
  • Develops technical specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens that meet the business objectives, assist with Technical Design, and reviews other submissions for viability as needed.
  • Collaborate and assist offshore development with deliverables to ensure quality.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
  • Works with the project team to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements
  • Configure Blue Yonder SCPO solution(s), perform system integration, and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to peer reviews, creates Unit Test cases, and Documents code as required.
  • Lead technical process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project.
  • Codes applications, databases, interface programs, and configures software packages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hands-on experience with the latest DevOps (such as Jira, Confluence) and ITSM (Such as ServiceNow, HPSM, EasyVists) tools
  • Certification or training in agile development methodologies (e.g., certified scrum developer)
  • Overall understanding of supply chain planning and inventory optimization processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to design, develop and analyze in: Unix shell script, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, or Python. Other databases and programming languages are a plus
  • Experience with the implementation of BlueYonder SCPO cloud-based solutions
  • 5 years experience and understanding of BlueYonder suite of products, technology stack, and database or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Be able to develop and maintain integrations. Knowledge of the latest integration technologies, such as Mulesoft, Kafka, and ETL tools, is a big plus.
  • Prior experience with the application of an understanding of AI/ML
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
Education
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This is considered a blended role and can be located remotely at the USF offices with up to 20% travel requirements.
The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $89,300 and $119,100. In New York City, the expected compensation for this role is between $105,400 and $140,500. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $100,100 and 133,500. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $100,100 and $133,500. This role is also eligible for Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
