100% Remote - Ux Designer With Powerbi Experience

We have an immediate need for a UX Designer with Power BI experience.

This would be a 100% remote opportunity and an immediate need.

Update from Manager:

They are looking for a junior to mid level person with experience in Digital Reporting, data visualization, Power BI, Figma, Agile.

This person will be working with the development team and building dashboards and pushing reports.

Responsibilities:

Create best-in-class design solutions and user experiences

Translate ideas into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences

Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences

Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback and activity

Design and deliver wireframes, story map, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces as needed

Create prototypes which communicate the product vision to executives and clients

Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions

Lead user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs

Collaborate with teams comprised of developers, business analysts and stakeholders

Provide valuable insight into user interface design best practices

Requirements

College degree or applicable experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related field

2+ years experience designing interfaces for software, apps or the web

Reporting and data visualization experience using PowerBI

Experience using and contributing to a design system

Extensive user interface prototyping experience, with proficiency utilizing tools such as Figma, Adobe, Invision, or Sketch

Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are not required but a plus

A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, usability and accessibility concerns

Exposure to Agile Methodology and practices

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism

Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
