We provide end-to-end program management support to deliver enterprise-level information technologies capabilities and strategies for DHS HQ. Dignari provides a full range of delivery services necessary to support program technical and management approaches, organizational resources, and management controls in alignment with program cost, performance requirements and scheduling demands for the ESSD, delivery partners and other business stakeholders. We provide technical guidance and oversight support to all Government and vendor-led projects. This includes implementing a SAFe/Agile environment, functional user acceptance testing, user stories and epics, lessons learned/process improvement, data analytics as well as providing project and milestone management.

The Senior Developer role serves as a leader within the development group and should have significant experience (5-7 years at a minimum) with software development techniques and technologies. The candidate should be comfortable mentoring junior and mid-level developers as well as interfacing with system stakeholders and clients.

Position Responsibilities:

• Understanding of emerging technology trends such as microservices, containerization, serverless, cloud, IoT, blockchain
• Solid understanding of web service protocols such as SOAP, REST and overall API design
• Full stack developer with experience using a diverse set of tools and technologies
• Experience with implementing interfaces between systems using published APIs and specifications
• Proficient with source control tools and methodologies (e.g. git)
• Experience with various database platforms - Relational and NoSQL
• Open to learning new technologies and architectures
• Experience with cloud architecture and cloud solution delivery - AWS, Azure, and Google
• Has mentored mid and junior developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevSecOps
• Understands emerging web and mobile development models
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with agile development (scrum/kanban) and use of associated tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, GitLab)
• Successful track record of delivering production software products
• Diverse programming language/framework experience - Angular, Node, React, Java, C#, Spring Boot, .NET Core, Python, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Typescript
