Job Description
This is Sales at Lattice
Our Sales team here at Lattice is not your typical Sales team. Yes, we have quotas and we follow the Command of the Message methodology. But, we’re more than that. Our Sales team has heart, and we put our people first. This leadership role will be a critical member of the overall Sales Leadership team, as well as a culture builder of our Sales team.
This is a unique leadership opportunity where you will play a major role in scaling our go-to-market function. This Director of Sales will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of sales culture, talent development, and overall revenue performance. You will work directly with our global sales leadership team and report to our SVP of North America Sales.
We’re looking for a leader who incorporates empathy, integrity, and humility into a hands-on leadership style. We need a talented sales coach who listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and has a proven track record of building high-performing teams. As a Director of Sales at Lattice, you will help make key sales hires, set team goals, motivate, and coach both Sales Managers and Account Executives to reach their full potential. What You Will Do
  • Cultivate the culture of our Sales team, including occasional travel to our offices.
  • Build and execute a strategy to help our Mid-Market and Enterprise teams continue to acquire new customers
  • Create a high energy, results-focused environment where reps love coming to work and feel they’re being developed towards their fullest potential
  • Organize and improve internal processes with your exceptional organizational skills
  • Lead 3 teams of experienced Sales Managers with 5-8 AE’s per team, coach managers on hiring and onboarding new AE’s, mentor tenured reps, and motivate the team to go above and beyond for our potential customers
  • Hold weekly 1:1s, as well as design, and facilitate team meetings/training sessions
  • Develop our next sales leaders into business leaders
What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Commitment to Lattice’s mission and values (link to read more about our Values here)
  • Experience selling with a formal Sales methodology (e.g. CoM, MEDDPICC, Sandler, etc.) is required
  • Demonstrated experience of selling into the 500+ employee or Mid-Market and Enterprise segments
  • Prior experience in a closing role with both Inbound and Outbound motions
  • 5-7 years of sales management experience, plus 2+ years of managing managers in SaaS environments; experience managing and coaching both sales managers and sales closers is strongly preferred
  • 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience in SaaS and bonus points for experience in the HR tech space
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment; we move fast!
  • Proven track record of over performance as both an IC and Manager

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $146,992 - $192,490 This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
