This is a remotely based position.
The Architect, Consultant and Engineering (ACE) Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the sales representative responsible for outreach, prospecting, and qualifying Architects, Consultants and Engineering leads. An ACE sales development representative will typically interact with our Architects, Consultants and Engineers at the beginning of their influencing journey.
- Take Ownership for the data mining and lead development process through our various sources, including initial contact, lead distribution and follow up success of our program
- Conducts research into the security industry – including competitor research.
- Monitors and attends meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the business development team.
- Helps the business development team to reach target Architect, Consultant and Engineer (ACE’s) goals.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the security market to successfully establish rapport with the Architect, Consultant and Engineering community.
- Establishes active communication and engagement with Architects, Consultants and Engineers (ACE’s) to create new leads and sales openings.
- Pre-construction data analysis for lead development.
- Performs strategic data analysis and research with the intent of developing building specification leads for the business development team.
- Attends product training and conferences to develop an understanding of Bosch Security products.
Travel – Approximately 25% of time for shows, meetings and customer visits
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to research and keep on top of security industry development
- An understanding of building construction phases.
- Leadership and communication skills
- Interest in and/or understanding of the security market
- Aptitude for time management and organization
- An understanding of pre-sales and sales environments
- Knowledge of the Architect, Consultant and Engineering community
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Online presentation skills
- An understanding of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
- Problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of IP Security Video systems
Preferences
- 3-5 years experience in the IP Video market
- Technical BS Degree
- Data Mining experience – Zoom Info, Construct Connect and Others
- Bosch Video Portfolio Knowledge
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$80,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
